The term "sports pub" does not do Bogey's justice.
Bogey's is not just a Sports Bar. It's true they are a
neighborhood tavern / pub, and they do have several TV's broadcasting the various sporting events, but they also have a fabulous menu of
Steaks, Ribs and Italian specialties (as well as the usual
pub food). Unlike most of the late night restaurants with live
music in the area, Bogey's offers THE ENTIRE MENU till 3:00am every night of the
week It's not just late night eats, it's late night dinner.
Sure they have the burgers,
wings and chicken fingers like every other bar that has a late
night menu, but Bogeys late night menu is the same as their dinner
menu. You can order anything off the entire menu, anytime, even in the
wee hours of the morning. Personally, I love the
"sizzling steaks", the fried calamari, and the buffalo shrimp just to name a few. Many people also rave about the Golf Balls appetizer consisting of breaded artichoke hearts served with marinara sauce.
They have great daily food specials and drink specials (the Monday Night Ribs special is amazing).
Bogey's is also know as a favorite North Jersey hot spot for Live
Music and Local Bands. They have
Live Music, Blues, Rock and Funk every Saturday night (never a cover charge).
So if your looking for a great place to go in Clifton for dinner, drinks
or just a late night snack, Bogey's Sports Pub is the place to
go.
